“After it opened, Virtual Magic Kingdom (VMK) was my obsession. I was around 9 or so, and my interest faded out when I moved and got into middle school when I was about 11. Because I got so into it, I persuaded my family to take a trip to Disney World, and eventually, hearing about Imagineers made me want to apply for a pre-engineering school - and started a strange, winding trip through high school. I’m somewhat sad that VMK is closed now, since it impacted me in such a unique way”.
